Why can't I FTP after I change my password?
The reason your FTP password does not work initially after you change it and your Telnet and control panel will still work is because the server must resynchronize all FTP passwords with the Control Panel, E-mail and telnet passwords. This can take up to 1 hour for machines which have a large number of users. During this time, do not try to change your password again as it can cause problems with the system not recognizing the correct password.
